  • EIRMC has far surpassed this national “best practices” standard, averaging 57 minutes over the last year.

  • The state’s largest and most modern ICU, with full-time intensivists and 30 beds dedicated to the most critically ill and injured patients
  • Recipient of 2005 Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence, awarded by the American Association of Critical Care nurses. The only one in Idaho, and one of only ten in the nation
  • Emergency Department is a 2010 recipient of the Qualis Health Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality for its work in improving the quality of healthcare and patient safety
  • Community’s only 24/7/365 emergency facility
  • Air Idaho Rescue has helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft and ground rescue capabilities
