Hand therapy combines science, art and engineering to rehabilitate injuries to hands and arms. Our goal at EIRMC is to return maximum functional use of the hand and arm for everyday activities, work, and play.

Dedicated and highly-trained therapists offer more than 40 years of hands experience with comprehensive knowledge of hand rehabilitation protocols. We have specialized skills in assessment, splint manufacture and treatment.

At EIRMC, hand therapists provide individualized care for people with fractures, dislocations, strains or sprains, tendon lacerations or tendinitis, nerve injuries or nerve compression syndromes, arthritis, joint contracture reduction, burns, amputations, and a variety of other conditions limiting the use of the hands and arms.

During and following active treatment, our therapists design, instruct and coach each patient with home exercises individually designed for their unique needs.
